Hi tony & gill! Just home for the weekend & patty has been updating me on your progress & just read the part of your blog about missing the transporter bridge in the north east middlesborough perhaps, well don’t forget there is also one in Newport South Wales! Not sure if it’s smaller or larger but very memorable, I remember going on it in the early 80’s when I used to work in Newport docks! All the very best you 2 from Johnny & patty in leafy lytham!
love your blog and we are still so in admiration of your adventure.

We did Brenda and it was much appreciated. In contrast to today’s stretch of route one on the Cynder Track which was truely aweful in places.
